With nearly 20 years’ experience in many trades, contributing to some weird and wonderful, sometimes whacky design & construction projects, Southwark Handyman Services, London was created in 2015 by Steven Hammerton-Reid. Since then, we’ve not looked back.

We felt there was a different, better way. So we’ve created a local handyman service that not only focuses on impeccable workmanship, customer care, satisfaction, and quality but we’re also conscious that our reputation is important. A reputation that is built on trust. Trust us to not only do the job, but to do it properly, to the highest standard and, at the best price. Based on our massive client base in such a short space of time due to recommendation alone, we think we’ve got it right.

Our Services

Blind fitting:

We offer a cutting & fitting service for blinds.

Carpentry & Joinery:

We’re experts at sorting out those minor carpentry jobs. Hanging and adjusting doors, fitting window and door locks, building shelves, boxing in pipes, kitchen fitting, wood flooring, shed building and much more. We also have a time served bench joiner on our team who can create some of the most amazing and intricate designs in your choice of wood and finish.

Painting & Decorating:

We’re able to tackle those jobs you hate such as, filling cracks and holes in walls, patch plaster repairs, sanding woodwork, wallpaper hanging, painting, sealing bathrooms, showers, & kitchens. From single rooms to whole house makeovers, we have a team ready, willing, and able to tackle your refurbishment.

Plastering:

From full rooms to repairing electrical chases and patching repairs, we’re able to tackle the smallest and largest of jobs.

Electrical:

Our handymen are able to complete simple jobs such as lightbulbs, installing extension phone lines, changing light fittings, etc. We also have a qualified electrician on our team to tackle more complicated repairs and notifiable works such as replacing switches, sockets, consumer units, fault finding, cooker supplies & rewires.
