About the Business
The company was founded by Douglas Thomson in 1970 and changed hands in 1992 when Gary Thomson, the current proprietor, took over. Initially based in St Alban's Road, TT Construction expanded and relocated to a purpose-built office - The Pump House on Blackford Avenue. We renovated this former industrial building to create an impressive commercial property.
The Pump House is situated over an underground spring and houses a large artesian well that, in its day, pumped water to the Old Holyrood Brewery, it forms a stunning feature within the building. In 2011, the business relocated to their current premises at 1a Blackford Avenue, another major project.
