About the Business

Arcadia Builders was founded by Garry Hutchinson in 2008 when he teamed up with a number of highly skilled builders in Ripon, Richmond and the surrounding areas. Originally trained as a stonemason, Garry started work with a small company and quickly became skilled in every trade from roofing to plastering.

He worked in London during the boom in the nineties, in Germany building everything from houses to hospitals than in France on barn conversions. Eventually, he returned to his roots in North Yorkshire and started working on renovations, new builds and more barn conversions.

Garry’s wide experience is invaluable when it comes to managing every type of project effectively and efficiently. He works with a team of hand-picked specialists, including stonemasons, joiners and bricklayers and builders in Ripon, Richmond, Harrogate, Bedale, Leyburn and the North Yorkshire area.
