Ernest Barnes Ltd is a family run business that prides itself in the level of expertise that it can offer prospective clients. Our directors are highly qualified in the field of brickwork conservation. We also have an experienced group of associates that enable us to provide a comprehensive range of heritage services.
David has over thirty years of experience working in the conservation and construction sectors.
He began as an apprentice working for a large national construction company. During this time he received six prestigious awards, including the coveted Silver Trowel for Excellence in Brickwork, and gained experience of working on a wide range of building types and styles. He has an in-depth knowledge of his craft and also its relationship with other construction disciplines. Much of this was gained during the fifteen years he spent lecturing in brickwork, five of which were as Head of Construction Crafts.
