About the Business
Forest Carpentry Ltd is a family firm based in Christchurch, Dorset and is a member of the National House-Building Council - the NHBC. Forest Carpentry is run by Jim Kelly. Originally biased towards general building, two-thirds of the building done is now New Build. Forest Carpentry Ltd is a member of the NHBC and uses them for its' new build guarantees.
As well as new build we still complete extensions, loft conversions, renovations and garages. Forest Carpentry also has a bias towards building ecologically - through greater insulation or 'air-tightness' or via ecological power sources such as wood burners and solar thermal.
